WM Brokers get muddy for charity!
WM Brokers get muddy and raise £510 for charity.
On Sunday 8th October a team from WM Brokers took part in The Whole Hog 2023 and managed to raise £510 for St. Elizabeth’s Hospice.
The Suffolk Whole Hog is organised annually, and is just one of a number of public, charity and team-building obstacle races they run each year. 2024 is their 18th year of running the Suffolk Whole Hog, and was their biggest race yet!
The Suffolk race is around 5 miles long and there is a lot of obstacles, lots of mud and lots of water. The WM Brokers team, made up of David McGowan, Jenna Smith, Joe Godfrey and Tony McAlpine, all successfully completed the race and had some excellent results too.
David finished 22nd overall Joe came in 24th, Jenna finished 32nd overall (but was the 3rd in the female category) and Tony finished 196th. With well over 600 participants this was an exceptional result for all of the team.
Well done team, now to start training for 2024!
